Coloring Easter eggs

My parents and brother came to Minnesota to celebrate Easter and also Jake's eighth birthday. The kids enjoyed hunting and coloring eggs. We all went out and enjoyed a delicious brunch nearby.

Spring Weather

Yes, We did get that nice 80 degree weather for one weekend and got out in our shorts.

Easter with the bunny!

I told Jake that I would only ask him to sit by the Easter Bunny until he is ten so we only have two more years to enjoy getting all the kids with the bunny. Jenna kept saying she wanted to sit on the bunny's lap but when the time came just wanted to stay in her stroller. She did warm up to the bunny by the time we left and gave him a big hug.

Ice Skating

The boys are currently enrolled in ice skating and have their last lesson on Saturday. We started later in the season but the boys will be all ready to skate for next winter. Jake was really not that interested in learning but once he got out on the ice loved it. Joshua just jumped right in and also had a lot of fun. The progress they have both made over the past six weeks is amazing.

Cabelas

We recently went to Cabelas as one of our Mom's club outings. The kids just loved the aquarium and watched the fish for 45 minutes. This gave me time to get some cool fish shots. Cabelas to me is very Minnesota but I know these are all over including a new location in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. From what I have heard they are different in each state.

30 inches of snow in one week

The kids really enjoyed all the snow we received in early March. They built tunnels, sled, and just ran around in the snow.

Valentines Day

Jake and Josh made Nascars for their boxes to collect Valentines at school. Here is just one of the photos of Jake.

Where dreams come true. Walt Disney World

I already sent these out but thought this would be a good way to start our blog since this was our first big event of 2007. We all had such a great time on this Magical Disney vacation!

Hello from Minnesota!

Hello from Minneosta! We have been wanting to put together a website ever since we moved to share photos of the kids. My sister Heather just moved to Texas with her husband and daughter Addie and has started a blog which she updates quite often. This is so great for us to keep up on their lives but most of all just to see photos of our niece. I don't know when or if I will get to my website plan so will give this blog thing a try. I love viewing other people's blogs and am already having fun setting ours up.

My plan is to try to update this at least monthly. I will try to put our big events on here as well as some daily moments. I will send out occasional reminders. They won't be every time we post but maybe just once and a while after we have uploaded quite a bit of new photos. I know that I need reminders for everything.
